This week we learned about “Just Right Books”. We read the story “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and talked a lot about how although all three bears had porridge and chairs and beds, each had very different needs for each item. The students and I discussed a lot about how a book that is “Just Right” for one friend may be too easy or too challenging for another , and that’s ok!!!! We also compared shopping for clothes to shopping for books. I personally don’t shop in the same section as my dad because those clothes sizes would be much too big (like challenging books)! And although baby clothes are cute, I am sure our students wouldn’t buy their t-shirts in that section because they would be much too small(like books that are too easy)!!! Check out the photos of our volunteers modeling too big, just right, and too small shirts!
This week we also learned how to hold S’more, our class pet, in a way that makes him feel safe! Here are some photos of the students safely holding their new friend !
We love the pictures, especially the one of the too-small shirt!
S’more will be very well taken care of ๐
Avery and I loved seeing all the pictures of her classmates and Sโmores. We sent his some leftover carrots and celery for snacks this week. Hope he enjoys! Avery went to the bookstore Friday night and taught mom all about โjust rightโ books and picked up some new books to read!

Dear Mrs. Campagna’s Class,
We are a fourth grade class in Gilbert, AZ and would love to blog with you. Our teacher, Ms. Pjura, blogged with Mrs. C’s class last year with her second graders. Your class pet is adorable!! What animal is it? It looks like a guniea pig, but bigger. We have a class pet too, his name is Beardie, he’s a bearded dragon.
