We have been spending time discussing how to write good, complete sentences over the last two weeks. We have related this to our 5 W’s homework that is sent home on Tuesdays. We use this homework to practice writing strong sentences but also how to respond to a question or a prompt. We focus on using our C.U.P.S. (capital letters, using the right words, punctuation and spelling), restating the question (using the words that are in the question in our response), and avoiding pronouns in our answers, especially if the question uses the noun.
